I worked on this project for my mom and her other kindergarten-teaching partner as the basic template based sites the school district provided was out-dated and unpleasant to interact with. Keeping the audience of kindergartners and their parents in mind I designed a fun, playful and interactive site. One of the guidelines for the site was to make it secure, where parents had to login, I was able to add this feature we a tool I already had that utilizes a database. I also added a CMS function to make updating the site easier for the teachers. The site includes a kids section with an interactive letter game, blog for teachers to inform parents, bios on the teachers and forms, newsletters and images of the kids.
